Canoe'09 - August 12-16, 2009

ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships on Lake Banook in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia  

This is the biggest international event ever hosted in Atlantic Canada. There will be 80 Countries, 800 Volunteers, 1,000 Athletes & Team Members, 100,000 spectators over 5 days and 12 million television viewers (global).

Prince Albert Road will be transformed into an exciting festival that will host concerts, vendor kiosks, and entertainment tents, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.

2009 Canada Games - August 15-29, 2009

This national multi-sport and cultural event is being held in Prince Edward Island, Canada. There will be 6,000 Volunteers and 4,400 Athletes & Team Members competing in 18 sports.
